As we ride out this storm from the confines of our New York City apartment, we have garnered an acute appreciation for our windows and the activity of the trees that happen just on the other side of the clear glass. This is why we have been particularly enjoying Matteo Pericoli's collection of illustrated cityscapes. The collection of drawings accompanied by comments, include intimate views of New York as seen by David Byrne, Annie Leibovitz, and Mario Batali to name a few.
